Kara Breadmore

Kara Breadmore is the Founder and Creative Director of Kallure Jewellery, a Melbourne-based fine jewellery atelier specialising in custom design. 

Kara is an award winning designer with over 21 years of experience in the industry including a Tafe Certificate IV - Jewellery Design and Production, a Bachelor of Fine Arts Majoring in Gold & Silversmithing, a Masters of Fine Art (Gold & Silversmithing) and a GIA Certificate in Practical Diamond Grading. 

Her artistry is grounded in reverence for technique from another time – a passion for re-enlivening the antique craft of handmade jewellery into relevant, wearable art developed during years working alongside some of Australia's most eminent antique experts. Kara's design aesthetic is informed by her roots in fashion design and inspired by the experiences that intertwine people, places, the past and the present.
